Willow’s Waltz

Some tracks are birthed through blood, sweat, and tears, while others seem to just effortlessly appear out of thin air. Willow’s Waltz was definitely in the latter category. Created in a blur of creativity in the final week of 2022, it marked the first collaboration between myself and the amazing vocalist Elvya. I initially sent her a fragment of a tune idea I had sitting around. I short time later she sent back some vocal melodies, and that lit the fuse, the track just exploded. I was very inspired by the Elvya’s vocals, and all the other elements just seemed to fall into place with such easy. When I listen back to the track now, it amazes  me how everything fits and flows so well. I wish every piece was as effortles to make as Willow’s Waltz!
